Notice of Council Special Meeting with Motion to enter Closed Meeting
June 18th, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the Missouri City Council will conduct a meeting at 6:30 PM on Monday, June 22nd, 2026 at the MCCA Building 309 Main St. Missouri City, MO 64072
The tentative agenda of this meeting includes:
Scheduling the postponed public hearing for an accessory structure flood plain variance request.
The tentative agenda of this meeting also includes a vote to close part of this meeting pursuant to Missouri Statute 610.021 subsection (3) for the purpose of reviewing cost and qualifications of a primary and backup water operator from several applicants. The open portion of the meeting will resume after the end of the closed executive session of the meeting.

Public Notice for Missouri City Public Water System
The Missouri City Public Water Service, MO 1010532, failed to report to the State of Missouri that notifications were sent to water customers of Missouri City, requiring the reporting of lead service lines, by the deadline of July 1, 2024. Long term exposure to lead in drinking water poses health risks especially to children. No alternative water supplies need to be used at this time. No actions need to be taken at this time. Missouri City Public Water Service is repeating Service Line Inventory notifications annually by mail and printed public notice, including risks of lead in drinking water, and methods to mitigate exposure to lead and will send reports of notifications to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources annually by the July 1st deadline. The Missouri City Public Water System expects to be in compliance by July 1st, 2026. This notice will be posted at the Missouri City Post office, Missouri City School and the MCCA Building. Please share this information with all the other people who drink Missouri City Public Water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

Cancelation of Planing and Zoning Meeting
The Missouri City Planning and Zoning Commission meeting for Tuesday May 5th, 2026 6:30 PM was canceled due a lack of a quorum. The next scheduled meeting will be July 7th, 2026 6:30 PM at the MCCA Building 509 Main St. Missouri City, MO 64072.

Notice of Road Work Date
The tentative date for the road work for repairs to St. Bernard Hill east of Stillhouse Rd will be Tuesday March 31st, 2026. That portion of the road will be closed for 4-5 hours for repairs.

Important!
Attention Missouri City Residents!
The City will have two dumpsters placed by the City Garage on Main Street the weekend of March 28th & 29th for City Clean Up Days. Use them for non-hazardous items NOT picked up by AAA Disposal on regular trash days. Please do not stack items higher than the dumpster walls because they can’t be transported. The dumpsters are for the use of Missouri City residents only!
