Notice of Public Hearing
The City of Missouri City, Missouri will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 12th, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the MCCA Building, 309 Main St. Missouri City, Missouri 64072. An amendment to Flood Plain Management Ordinance 142 Pursuant to 44CFR § 60.3(d) will be read two times and voted on by the Missouri City, Missouri Council. The purpose of the ordinance is to update the FEMA requirements of existing ordinance for Floodplain Management 142 to include additional variance abilities for new construction and substantial improvement certification. Copies of the Amendment and ordinance 142 will be placed at the Missouri City Post office and requests for copies can be made by writing to The City of Missouri City, Missouri PO Box 264, Missouri City, MO 64072. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.
