Attention Missouri City Residents!
Pursuant to Executive Order 20- 03, signed March 18, 2020 by Missouri Governor Mike Parsons, all Missouri municipal elections scheduled for April 7, 2020, will be postponed until Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
Ballot information will not change. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot has been extended through May 20, 2020.
The following Missouri City positions are up for election on June 2, 2020:
City Council 2nd Ward (2 year term)
City Council 4th Ward (2 year term)

Notice
Attention Missouri City residents! Changes to trash and recycling programs.
Curbside trash collection will change to Wednesdays effective January 8th, 2020. The final Monday pickup will be on December 30th, 2019.
The recycling bin downtown will not be available after December 31st, 2019. The City Council thanks everyone for their cooperation.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING PETITION FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of Missouri City, Missouri will hold a Public Hearing concerning a Voluntary Petition for annexation received from Missouri City Acquisition, LLC on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., in the MCCA Building located at 309 Main Street, Missouri City, Missouri. The public is cordially invited to attend. The property in question is generally identified as that property previously owned by the City of Independence for their electrical power plant.
