There has been an increase in burglaries and thefts in and around town recently. We encourage everyone to be on the lookout for suspicious activity. The Clay County Sheriff’s Department can always be reached at 911 for emergencies and 816-407-3700 for non-emergency calls.

The July 16th meeting of the Missouri City, Missouri City Council was cancelled due to lack of a quorum. The next monthly meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 10th, 2015, at the MCCA Building at 309 Main Street.

Special Meeting

The Missouri City, Missouri, City Council will hold a closed session at 7:00 pm, on Monday, April 20th, at the Old City Hall. The closed session will be followed immediately by an open meeting.
Agenda items for the open meeting include announcing and swearing in the new Ward One Council member and reading and voting on three Ordinances.
