Voluntary Annexation Petition Hearing Agenda
The Missouri City, Missouri, City Council will hold a special hearing at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019, at the MCCA Building regarding a voluntary annexation petition. Representatives from Missouri City Acquisition LLC will attend to present their petition for voluntary annexation of the property west of town previously owned by the City of Independence and used for a power plant.
The meeting will be called to order and role taken. The public will be invited to speak on the voluntary petition with the applicant. Those in favor will then be allowed to speak followed by those in opposition.
After that, the Mayor will declare the hearing concluded. The Council will vote on the proposal at their regular monthly meeting scheduled for 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 12th, 2019, at the MCCA Building.
