Minutes of August 14th, 2017, Council Meeting
The Missouri City, Missouri City Council held their monthly open meeting at the MCCA Building on Monday, August 14th 2017 at 6:30 pm. Attending: Mayor Barry Moore, City Treasurer Lisa Webber, City Clerk Monte Railey, Water Bill Collector Brandon Gray and Council members Micah Schake, Sydney Stewart and Rocky Gross. Joe Selle was absent. Also in attendance: Wilbur Webber.
Mayor Moore called the meeting to order.
Minutes from July 10th, 2017, meeting and July 2017 financial reports were read and approved.

Councilman Gross made a motion to authorize payments. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schake and carried 4-0.
Old Business
Ditch Clearing – Work has begun. The City is continuing work on clearing brush and trimming trees around ditches.
Stillhouse Road repairs – approximately 130 feet of road collapsed along the ditch on the west side of the south end of Stillhouse Rd. Repairs have been completed.
Water Project – Additional documentation is being prepared for the final package to be submitted for approval of the USDA Loan.
New Business
Culvert cleaning – Mayor Moore advised the Council that the Fishing River Fire District will blow out clogged culverts as needed when ditches are cleared.
City Ordinance Documentation – Brandon Gray will begin downloading current Ordinances on the City website (missouricitymo.gov). An updated hard copy book will also be prointed.
The next Council meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017, at the MCCA Building.
